Too late and far to confused to write much tonight that'll make any sense (!) Thanks to everyone who wished
me good luck today, it has been a long 2 days. Spent the best part of 4 - 5 hours in the Marsden today, being weighed, measured, talked to, bloods taken, more talking, more waiting..... They were all lovely and very helpful, now i need to inwardly digest info and prepare for the operation. ( still on schedule for the 12th).
Today apparently is just the start of my 'journey', (not that I asked to go on one, but there we are!)

Really hope you are more up to date now with what is going on with your body and that many of your questions were answered, although I would imagine any answers created more questions. Am I making sense here?! Glad you're home safe anyway, and seriously (?, ha!), get your offspring into some sort of washing/cleaning/shopping/ironing rota for after the surgery.
