Thursday 5th February

The 8am dog walk this morning was FREEZING, not that Jessie minded, but I think all the pheasants have definitely left for warmer climes ....

Enjoyed game of racquetball with CM at the Fort, and then she went out west for a 'muscle pump' class and I went onto the Merton for 'stretch and tone' .

Steve flew in the door at 12:30 for our friends dads funeral at 1pm. As far as funerals go it was 'really good', which seems a bit bizarre but it was exactly as he would have wanted it. Just hugely emotional, especially seeing my friends and their children upset.

I needed another good long dog walk this afternoon, and once again met up with SC, this time she was wearing a dead animal on her head... dont worry it wasn't rat like...

Lovely walk from home to Gorey through the woods and green lanes...

Actually, I'll retract the sentence about 'dead animal'... SC took my ironing, she may not bring it back.......
Jessie and Baxter

This evening we had the 'Gynae Cancer Support group at the Lido... with a 'colour specialist' to tell us all about how we can make the most of ourselves by wearing the colours that are best suited to each individual. A good idea if you are undergoing any treatment, or finding that post treatment colours you used to wear just don't look good anymore.

Finally Durrell Dan has survived another freezing day outside playing with the Tamarins... ( or pulling out weeds around enclosures more like), but he is back for more of the same tomorrow.

Jack is at work this evening, and all seems fine with him, and Tom is out negotiating a deal on a car.

P & E has crashed out after another hectic day... I think I heard more from his radio interview at 5pm than I actually have talking to him in person, but good piece in the JEP tonight.
