Sunday 1st February

Quietly pleased today, I've had the familiar tightening in my chest when  I get puffed, walking up hills or getting out of breath in aerobics class. It started in the middle of the week and I recognise the symptoms of my bone marrow getting a hammering. Finally this month the chemo is starting to catch up with me...or so I thought, but today I have been fine and that's with a dog walk, aerobics and gardening activity. Maybe it's not so bad after all, anyway I won't know until Tuesday morning when I have my blood test, its been sheer bliss not having to have an injection for last two and half weeks!

Sad day on the sporting front for Andy Murray losing in the Australian Open, and for Team Jets losing their match at Les Ormes. I didn't get to see the Jets play today as match started at 12, and just couldn't make it...

We did some gardening duties instead this afternoon, Steve mowed the two small lawns, (which seems crazy on February 1st, but necessary!) and then dug over one of the large raised beds so I could plant sets of onions...I'm sure it was the time to plant onions, but then i read on the packet, "spring" planting, so I could have made a 'rookie' error there. Oh, well the daffodils are flowering must be nearly spring...ish soon!!!

I've rediscovered my 'fitbit', and fully charged have been wearing it over the last few days, its amazing that I've 'walked' 9.22 miles yesterday, and 8.81 miles today.......If it snows and I can't/don't want to drive I may be walking many more miles this week.....
