He thought he'd start with a healthy salad.......Do you
see anything thats 'green' on his plate?!
Birthday kiss....
This involved driving out to St lawrence and mostly standing around in a windswept muddy field, (temperature -2, )trying to make our dogs jump over hurdles and go through hoops. That said, it was really quite good, but that's probably because Jessie was 'really good'... in fact the lady in charge said that for her first time she was 'fantastic'!! I was well chuffed!
Of course the more experienced dogs and owners were on a more advanced agility course, but that didn't stop one particular dog from leaping the first hurdle and then taking off at hundred miles an hour around the field. ( I've learnt that one of the 'rules' is if this happens and the dog comes near you, it is up to you to launch yourself at the said dog and stop him/her from careering around enjoying a free-for-all..)
I'm taking the snowy background off the blog, as so far there doesn't seem to be any... (famous last words).... but the wind continues to howl outside and I'm not sure how much more the flagpole can take, it has a serious 'bend' to it, and a little worrying that should it snap off it could cause untold damage to someone or something!
Thank you for a great evening. Always lovely to see you both X x
