I have strict instructions to write the blog post tonight, as I have obviously been shirking my duty as of late.....
Judging by last nights 'family' post , (and comments) posts need to be shorter, punchier and to the point!
I am feeling good, my energy levels seem ok, I'm not having any obvious side effects from the Chemo, (which is a real bonus) and I'm enjoying the beautiful weather. It really does improve most things if you can get out and about in the sunshine.
Last night's retirement meal went very well, very good speeches, and very emotional, I was lucky enough to sit next to DN, who made the evening very enjoyable.
Today I have enjoyed a lovely game of tennis with good friends, and as the PM was actually in the parish at lunchtime we went off to the newly opened Village Tea room on the Green. It ended up being with AA, Dan and Bex, and was already busy even though it's barely been in operation forty eight hours.
I'm writing this on Becky's laptop, so can't access photos, dont worry i'm storing them up especially dog ones!!
Lastly a special mention to the passing of a wonderful man and one of life's true gentleman NH, our love and condolences to ALL the family.... RIP
