I've had long walks with the dogs and friends... some of the walks have taken me longer than intended, mainly due to the puppy, who I'm afraid to say has a distinct liking to her own "search 'n' rescue" mission, although in her case less of the 'rescue'. One of her brothers has just been chosen to do rescue training in the UK, and if Beanie carries on with her current trend, she could find herself on the boat with a one way ticket.
Her favourite wild fowl appear to be ducks this week, and she so does love swimming....in reservoirs.....with ducks.... but let's leave it there.
Here they are looking like a couple of well behaved dogs....
St Ouen looking beautiful...
A few selfies with the girls
Two well behaved friends....
Tea time at El Tico
Supper at the new Seafish cafe in St Aubin with friends
Had a lovely afternoon walk in the woods with the girls...
Found a 'woodsman', not entirely sure he wasn't going to put some of us on his bonfire....
Managed to get three out of four girls in the picture...
Three more girls...
Not sure the video will play as doesn't seem to be working, but either way we had a good afternoon.
In between all of the walks, sports and gardening/shopping /cooking I have been speaking to my consultant, and we decided to go ahead and book a CT scan. This throws up the usual range of feelings and emotions. I think it's actually been nearly a year now since my last scan, and it's about time i found out what's going on.
I am trying to be reasonably optimistic, but with my markers rising it's difficult not to have some reservations. Anyway, KG amazing as she is, has booked me in tomorrow (Monday) morning, with a follow up on Tuesday for the results.
I'm also wondering if the blood clot that I had last year has dispersed or whether it's still there, I'm really not sure how the whole clot thing works, another question to ask.
Thanks again everyone for reading/supporting/texts/emails/cards/hugs. #FeelingTheLove.
Lovely photos! See you soon. X
