Wednesday 27th August 5am

Sorry nothing new got posted last night, I was a bit disappointed with the news the doctor gave in the afternoon, plus I temporarily 'lost' the wifi.
The good news is I am to be discharged today, apparently my medication is already sorted, so I am assuming it will be by mid morning when I get my marching orders. The bad news is I will not be fit to fly until the weekend.
This was a bit of a blow, and not what I was led to believe.
I wish they had included a ' note' in the info they had sent me previously stating that a) this would be likely, b) I would certainly need loose fitting clothes.
My abdomen is still vey swollen and painful and whilst this is the case the hospital want me to be near enough should I require further treatment. I'm not even going there, I have visions of another procedure and a drain fitted to release this fluid.......total over thinking.
It is very difficult now being on this ward, because I am far fitter than anyone else here, and so feel a bit of a fraud, also I am sure that being able to walk a little further than twenty paces, will help disperse this lymphatic fluid and whatever else besides.
Of course Steve has had to change his timetable once again, and cancel stuff he had organised for the next few days, he always says it's not a problem, but I know he does not like to mess people about in this way.

We also know that we will have to fly back via Gatwick as no flights to Jersey from City airport. Hopefully we can get that sorted later today.

Thank you to the folk that have stepped in to help walk Jessie over the next few days, suddenly the boys are all working and Bex is on her job hunting course. I do appreciate it.
