Monday 7th September

Such a busy weekend, that I missed out on writing a blog post! So, to begin this one I first want to say a very big THANK YOU to those who have already donated on-line to my Ovacome page, especially JR and TH who set the ball rolling.... I dont even know their email or mobile so I couldn't text to say thank you properly!

Ok, so I can't remember what I did last weekend, Oh, it was bank holiday and the weather was rubbish! Think I cleaned out yet more cupboards/drawers etc. It's been a good summer for doing blitz indoor cleaning...and I spent some days "jellyfish dodging", a new sport I've taken up this summer.

Hubby and I spent Friday night on the Ecrehous at the  ImpĂ´ts (customs hut), luckily it was lovely weather and so incredibly peaceful.
Our taxi out and back!

 Low tide...

Early morning walk along the shingle...

 Selfies....
 Practicing !
 Last little bit of light....

Anyway, we arrived back on Jersey shore's at lunchtime for quick unpack, lunch etc before heading off to Jersey Live music festival ... I really wanted to see Clean Bandit, and on the Sunday George Ezra, both were brilliant.

In between all this happening in my life there is a lot going on in my friends lives, some good things some pretty awful things. I do think of those friends who are needing support often, and know they all have a strong network of family/friends , but a few prayers their way will help. I do often suggest Macmillan and know that anything said at the centre is in strict confidence.

Our support group met on Thursday and I had managed to get Arthur Lamy to give us a short walk/talk around St Helier, the guy is so knowledgable, and made it very interesting.

My eldest nephew turned Forty last week ....Forty!! Good grief, I think of him as being an annoying sixteen year old.
And, a friend is a very proud grandmother as her daughter gave birth to a son...who looks gorgeous.

Lastly, I drove into town to do some shopping and pulled into a small car park hoping to find a space, after trolling around slowly I looked sadly at the only space available, it was for a mini.........and then I realised I was actually driving a mini.... #blonde
