Had the family round for lunch yesterday, after which i cut the grass and dug some of the vegetable patch, before finishing off with a little weeding!
Another lovely sunny day and St Catherine's woods was beautifully quiet at 8:15am with Jessie and 'no coat ' required, (for me or her!) it almost felt like summer!
I had a lovely swim at the Merton while hubby conducted some business at St Catherine's and then onto Gorey before heading to the boat park to do some more 'boaty stuff'. I did my radio piece and then back into the garden ignoring the pile of ironing and washing that begged for attention.
Was pulled up short by a motorbike rider crusing slowly by, an old friend AP, he'd seen me in the garden and stopped for a chat and drink.
I also had a lovely surprise of some pink roses and a card from the twins- totally unexpected but very much appreciated- thank you girls xx
The north coast had lovely clear views of France today, and I was looking hopefully forward to enjoying fresh fish for supper- a false promise from my two sons..... boat engine troubles meant they never left the bay- hopeless!!
