A mixed week of emotions not my own so much this week but other peoples. I feel like I have missed out on a whole year of friends lives, and of course things happen and people move on. I've been selfishly wrapped up in my own issues and not paying enough attention to what is going on around me.
Still, it's half term this week and I hope to remedy that by trying to see lots of good friends and enjoying a good catch up.
I have had a date from the hospital re the latest CT scan, an appointment for June 12th, and while I had half thought of emailing them yesterday to find out if there was any news, I thought better of it. If there is any cause for concern, I really don't want it to spoil half term week, and using that 'no news is good news' turn of phrase will leave it until then.
Short blog tonight as NOT ready for the big Race for Life tomorrow, and I am in the process of cooking a quiche/sausage rolls and two cakes whilst typing (sister-in-laws birthday tomorrow)....... so plenty to do still this evening and time is ticking on!!!
Will report tomorrow on the days events, and no doubt photos of me and dog too!
