Monday 18th June
When the doctor at the hospital asked if I got out of breath, and I replied "well I did get out of puff a bit at the aqua aerobics" I don't think that's quite what he meant!!
Good news though from the blood test is that my white blood cell count is good- the not so good news is the reason behind the aforementioned question-my haemoglobin count is very low at 8 (should be between 11 and 13). this normally requires a blood transfusion-but we'll see how we go this week.....
Whilst pondering this latest turn of events and on my way for a CT scan I bumped into first one lovely friend TH and then one of my neighbours JdlH,(who as it turns out matches my blood group, so I have booked her in as my donor!!!)
A very busy day and then an evening spent in the Hotel De France listening to a very informative talk by Dr Brian Clement on Healthy Eating.....
Assisted by daughter and brother in making packed lunches for 3 of the family that need to leave the house by 6.30am tomorrow- I really must food shop- things are becoming desperate!!
