Wednesday 6th June
I’d like to start the blog tonight by thanking the ‘tennis
players’ this morning that ‘carried’ me through a match, it was so lovely to
swing a racquet but I had not realised until I began playing how very little ‘breath’
I had. This was a ‘wake up’ call, and not a nice one! I knew I had been far
more affected by this third line of chemo, but it’s not until you attempt
things do you realise the full extent of your ‘disability’!
I rested up this afternoon, and with no worries about
preparing supper- (thanks AH!) It was lovely to see a visitor from 'out west' to share a cup of tea and chat (SleC) and consequently I was able to visit my badminton club this
evening. I did go in kit and was able to play about 3 matches, albeit in slow motion
(at least it felt like it)! Still it was good to see friends and actually a bit
easier to manage than the tennis had been!

Love the song. Must be so frustrating but you'll be back there soon. Great to see you yesterday. Look forward to seeing you again soon to keep you up-dated!!!! xxxx
