Its Saturday evening. Dad had three things he wanted to do today.
1) He wanted to not have to write a blog post in the morning apologising for his son's ineptitude. Unfortunately for him his poor genes had created offspring incapable of writing a blog post within a given time frame. He has no one else to blame.
2) He wanted to tell everyone about how his son was some sort of lunatic who wants to buy a 'Japanese Machete'. He failed to mention that what his son really wanted was a Katana (aka a Samurai sword), and this would in fact make clearing brambles far more interesting as well as efficient. Apart from the high cost of purchasing of such an expensive piece of Japanese awesomeness, it was an excellent idea (but probably for his political career he couldn't condone the purchase of something deemed to be an offensive weapon).
3) He wanted to be able to do the Telegraph Sudoku.
He might have completed the third item, but he might also have cheated; i'm not sure because I haven't yet checked his work. Sometimes I think he sits there for hours before just filling in boxes with random numbers, claims that he's completed it and then throws the paper away. If questioned I bet he would claim he got numbers mixed up due to not wearing his glasses.
I wanted to write a blog post because I saw a comic that made me laugh a lot. I see many funny things on a daily basis but perhaps not all of them are acceptable material when my grandparents are going to read it.
I'll leave this short as Dad might want to add something later.
