Backtracking.... Friday afternoon we had a small tea party for a friends birthday, involving cake and sandwiches and not sausage rolls ( I didn't have my glasses on in the supermarket, so bought cheese and onion rolls instead, well, its really tricky because i can't wear the glasses to walk around in as everything is blurry. So they are either left in the handbag, propped on my head or end up scrunched in the trolley with the veg)
Jessie and I had a lovely walk in Greve de Lecq woods this morning, I was expecting lots of mud and rain, and it ended up being sunny...
Three of us went off to the Lifestyle show at Fort Regent this afternoon, with the intention of 'looking'. It didn't start well as getting out of the lift from the carpark, the daughter noticed that PM just had the 'stalk' of his poppy proudly on display. I had to lend him mine. It took us a while to get around, as every few minutes he had to stop and chat to someone, I took the brief moments that he was distracted to make a few purchases, a clever plan I thought. We obviously did need a special bag that you put your dog in to dry her, and I was looking to buy a new frying pan anyway....
This evening our neighbours HG and TG were hosting a bonfire/fireworks night, food included, bean crock and hot dogs. An amazing evening with lots of friends and neighbours and children invited. They had buckets for Macmillan donations, and I've just heard they raised over £1,000 !!!!!!
A doggy bag?! Sounds interesting! Your energy is inspiring! X
