I had a bit more energy today, and had a good walk around les platons with FB and the dogs, all before 9:30am!
In readiness for our new tenant in the cottage I needed to move a double bed from our house. Fortunately Jack had just finished his night shift, and didn't protest too much when I asked for help ( ultimately he did it, I was very much the lackey !! ) he did complain about how feeble I was , and how badly I followed his simple instructions...... But I know he was joking.....
That done I spent a short while in the garden, I've planted sweet peas in the greenhouse, after my late start this year, I'm getting super early for next year. ( probably too early !!) no doubt my sister 'up north' will be sighing at my inadequacies on the growing front.
Lovely neighbour LT popped around at lunchtime with a homemade ratatouille, one of my favourite vegetables dishes, and enjoyed by me tonight ! I would have liked to have a rest after lunch but now with the clocks changed and the evenings dark early on, I took Jess out early to the beach for her second walk. it was not pleasant, really strong head wind. I was glad to get back in the house by 3:45 and had a chance to put my feet up then... I needed to rest as I was planning a small aerobic work out at St Mary's with the red haired 'squirrels'!
PM walked in the door at 6pm, looking very tired and needing a quick turn around as he was due out to a supper engagement at 7:15. Amazingly I remembered to ask him to do my injection before he left...
