Friday 21st December
We enjoyed a lovely long walk along Grouville beach this
morning in the SUNSHINE, such a difference!
Had a visitor SleC who arrived bearing gifts and glad
tidings, (not sure about the good-will to all men- particularly where Condor
are concerned!!)
And after lunch we
had another short dog walk, which, actually took a long time as we chatted to
neighbours and friends!
An early evening invitation to GH, for drinks and listening
to my sister-in-laws choir ‘Holmchase’ sing carols-beautiful….and just before
we left to go out I had a lovely surprise from hubby- he said I could have an
early Christmas present and so I opened a parcel he had already wrapped- and in
it was ……………I’ll tell you tomorrow..!!!!
"I
heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"
- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
