Friday 7th December
Everything was fine this morning until after breakfast……when
once again my back and tummy started to ‘spasm’ , and before you shout out, it
was the same breakfast I always have….!!!
Either way I was racked with pain AGAIN for no apparent reason,
but this time I took a paracetamol straight away….. And I think it did the
trick. I wasn’t sick this time thank goodness and fortunately after a morning
in bed the pain subsided. I had visions of another 24 hours of pain and tears
but luckily whatever it was resolved itself.
My kind hubby (who
had earmarked his day of meetings and ‘jobs’), instead ran my errands and
walked the dog. I was supposed to spend the morning with two great friends SC
and SC, but never made it (mind you I would have needed to have had my wits
about me in order to keep up with them!)
I managed to walk Jessie in the meadow before an irate hubby
rang up to say how foolish I was for all manner of reasons and how much I annoy
him…..before he drove down to pick me and the dog up from the beach because I
was shattered!!!
I rested up for a few hours and then announced I was going
to take jess on the beach before it got dark and then go to Waitrose…..so if
you spotted the pair of us out and about…. A pale one with very short hair and
a grumpy one with equally short hair that would be why!!!!
However, I am determined to go out this evening to a small
Christmas party with friends…. And enjoy myself. After all I’ve had a relaxing
day…….!
“Let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds
of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each
other's cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat
not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one
of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver
with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping. For
only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too
near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and
the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.”
