Saturday 22nd December
Another busy day, but very enjoyable (despite having spent
all of it with crazy aunt!), we managed to hire a tennis court for an hour and
whack a few balls at each other. She said the light was bad so couldn’t see the
tennis ball properly, a poor excuse I thought!
On the way back home we popped into see AH, and her fabulous
Christmas decorations, they were amazing and put our paltry efforts to shame!
Made a chicken casserole for supper and a trifle for son no2
to take into work and then set off to les Platon for a very muddy dog walk.
Welcomed visitors N and P, followed by neighbours C and Pdlh
this evening, both sets bringing gifts- thank you!
Skyped my little brother who told me he had managed to get
hit on his nose by a stick wielded by a blind man on a clay pigeon shoot. Never
mind about being hit, what was a blind man doing on a shoot!!!!!
Aunt and I then had the ‘pleasure’ of visiting the supermarket
at 8.30pm to check up on my hard working daughter and cheer her up. The place
was half empty, although we didn’t stay long I bought (among other things) a
hot chicken for £1.50…… which son no 3 and friend have demolished as soon as we
got home!
My early Christmas present?
An absolutely beautiful black cashmere full length coat- it
is gorgeous and I LOVE IT, plus when I tried it on last night there was a little
box in the pocket………which I’m saving for Christmas day, as far too emotional to
open last night!!!!

an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To
all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.” ~

Love to see a photo of you wearing coat x
