Saturday 18th October

What fantastic weather today, I hope most people actually got outside and enjoyed themselves. We had a dog walk on St Aubin beach at 9am for an hour, followed by coffee and (for me a bacon sandwich) teacake in a local cafe.

Arriving back in St Martin we had a flurry of visitors, young and old(er), requiring refreshments that took us right up to lunchtime.
My afternoon was spent doing some serious gardening... whilst the men of the house swanned off to St Catherines to 'help a friend take their boat out of the water'... wish I'd gone down there now for a swim!

Pleased I still seem to be feeling alright, no sign of nausea over the last few days,  my appetite has increased, and I'm wearing my 'normal clothes' not just the 'fat' ones anymore! I have another blood test next Thursday, and then I am presuming Chemo the week after, but I am just enjoying the 'here and now' and not looking too much into the future.

This time twenty nine years ago I was nervously preparing for our big wedding day.... looks like we are going to have similar weather tomorrow, although I don't think the 'Carriage ride' is booked...?

Ahhhhhhhh.......
