Wish I could get my 'slideshow' back, it's not much of a blog really, I need an IT person to give it a bit of an overhaul I think, about time it had an update!
Im getting used to being brought a hot drink in the mornings... I just wonder when the novelty will wear off? I was equally grateful for the offer of taking the dog for a walk this morning, as I was on a bit of a go-slow, and wanted to save my energy for KEEP FIT!! Jessie was doubly lucky as later in the morning her boyfriends came round and took her down to Le Saie, which she loved (thanks R family!)
It really has been a pretty miserable day weather wise, but caught up on few tv programmes and managed another wet dog road walk with Bex this afternoon, so not all bad.
I have become braver, and decided that it will be totally unfair to ask hubby to keep giving me these Clexthane injections for the next three months, and I have to learn to do them myself. So, my first step is to actually look at the needle ( don't laugh, that is progress for me!) The thing is it's a kind of slow jab, and you have to push the plunger all the way in before the needle will retract itself.I'm worried that my main issue is a reflex reaction, its painful so you pull away.....not good! Anyway, I have a few days to go before I can reach that stage, and not entirely sure if my poor stomach can take weeks of injections... there is an oral alternative which I could well inquire about in the near future.
Thanks must go to my many local 'chefs' who have been dropping off freshly cooked meals, and any surplus has been frozen, this has been beneficial tonight when we as a family aim for Sunday supper 'family catch up' , and if i'm not up to cooking loads we delve into the freezer!
Conversation tonight was as usual varied, Tom did catch a bass from last nights fishing trip, not competition size sadly, but a good size, he'd been up all night, so spent a lot of today sleeping, or 'resting'! Jack has been helping a friend build a ferret run....okkkk. Dan seems to have been seeing friends and eating... no change there then!
A few ridiculous pics of the 'weather girls'!!
