Actually, bin day is tomorrow, but we try our best to fill our large and abused wheeleybin (???...doesn't look right, but how do you spell wheeliebin anyway?) on a Tuesday night...I'm sure our reader will get the drift.
Jill is starting to behave more normally...today she's done the morning dog walk...some pilates/yoga type thingy, and then a game of raquetball (although we're not sure how much of a game it was as the analysis of the game hasn't exactly been very forthcoming...we presume the mind was strong but the body weak....well, weaker than the mind thought it should be.
Tonight's supper table discussion was a two parter....part one centred around the spaghetti bolognese that we were eating...lots and lots of lovely comments (very many thanks to LT)...vast quantities were consumed by all..and much teasing about how much tastier it was then the "usual"....then an analysis of the chemical compounds involved and how one creates more, or less, sauce....whether that sauce comes out of a pot (from Waitrose) or is a genuine home made effort.
Part two consisted of a further conversation about the Mongol Rally....we were even exposed to a 25 minute video over coffee about last year's rally. While it looked like a "flippin' good month out" for a bunch of quite young looking boys I can't say that the storyline was great watching for any parents out there....especially after the rally had passed through Turkey and on to counties in the "east"....ones that I can't pronounce properly, let alone spell.....but eventually the "stars" of the video reached Mongolia....it wasn't exactly clear how those taking part actually get home after they have finished....certainly their car was only fit for the scrapyard.
Other big news today is thin on the ground I'm afraid.....but I'll let Jill post some photos..
For those of you who are interested the link to the One Show, and the lack of a drug fund, not only in Wales, but Northern Ireland......
