I have managed to wrestle the Laptop away from the 'Man of the House' so I can scribe a short blog post tonight instead of the usual long winded affair that you are all becoming accustomed to!
The sun shining today makes everything seem better, so Im glad in a way I didn't have Chemo and was able to enjoy the good weather.
I had a lovely early morning walk on Grouville beach with a neighbour JR, and her two 'boys', loads of seaweed down there that would look excellent on our vegetable patch. Another job I can add to hubby's list for the weekend, although I don't fancy lugging vraic into the trailer if its pouring with rain, as forecast is suggesting.
I'm feeling much fitter and stronger today, although i've been busy and so another early night is on the cards. Enjoyed a Pilates class at the Merton, but didnt dare go swimming even though it looked gorgeous, as I was told to keep my hand dry. It has very nearly healed, which is an excellent sign and hopefully means that my clotting platelets and haemoglobin levels are rising. Still got the unsightly rash though, but it doesn't itch so ignoring it!
Dan has decided that as he goes on holiday for 3 weeks on Saturday he had better do some washing, and find clothes/money etc... After missing his doctors appointment earlier this morning ( and me ringing up to apologise profusely on his behalf) he was too busy stuffing a homemade bacon and egg baguette to remember to go. I re booked another one two hours later for him, ( we felt it wise to have antibiotics 'in case', as well as asking for a referral letter to the hospital to sort out his 'varicose vein' ( something else he blames me for- sigh). I suggested he took a box of chocolates as a peace offering ( hoping they wouldn't charge him for the missed appointment). Little monkey took TWO tins of chocolates, one for the receptionist and one for the doctor, apparently they were made up..... the little charmer!!
