Sunday 25th March

Sunday 25th March
Major error thinking it was 25th yesterday, sorry; least I changed all the clocks in the house last night (or gave the orders!) so got something right!
Very busy morning, eating, sleeping and reading the papers ! Missed yet another food angel who dropped off an extremely large quiche, still warm which got devoured at lunchtime in 10 minutes flat!! Thank you x
Had a ‘business’ meeting after lunch, in which sadly for me (but probably with great relief to my colleagues!) I’ll have to skip off work after Easter. I was hoping to go back as my 6 week check from the operation ties in nicely with the beginning of term, however when the consultant knew that my job involved working with small children, he advised me against working as my immunity system will be so low, I’ll pick up every bug going. :)
Anyway the rumour is I don’t do anything when I’m there anyway!! Lol
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon at a friend’s birthday party, excellent food, company and wine, It was very relaxing and a pleasant change to be able to be part of a ’normal’ activity- thanks ;-)
Arrived home to Avatar on T.V, followed by Homeland, so not moved from the sofa….. Realised at 8.30pm the washing was still on the line…………

  1. Another sunny day for us all. I was near your way as had to come & see the piglets-had to video them on my phone because they just make me giggle & I know Jamie would appreciate them too!! As you know, little things like that amuse me!!! Sounds like you had a good day. I just love those days when the washing goes out & all dry at the end of the day & not a lounge full of washing drying-as I said small things make my day!! Love & Masses of hugs xxxxxxxxxx

  2. You had a brilliant day, fabby! So glad you are stopping work Jill and really relieved as would have been worried about you + chemo + snotty, bug filled enfants. Much as you love them, their bugs would luuuuuuurve you more. Good choice on your part, although I know, regrettable. I feel for you, you'll be stuck with us old things instead!! You can still do a bit of painting if you like. Let me know if you're up to drawing/painting a bit of the big pics for the GOSH charity barn dance. Radio on, we can draw/paint and wiggle our bods at the same time.xxxx
