Wednesday 21st
March
Well, I have
learnt my lesson, after spending 45minutes writing what I thought was a
relatively together blog, I hit a ‘wrong’ key and deleted it all………
A few
expletives later and Son no 1 suggests I write on word and then cut and paste
it, so here’s ‘Mark 2’….
Another
bright and early start of 5.45am, keen to jump out of bed and rip off my rather
fetching, sexy, white nylon surgical stockings, and relish in the short-lived
freedom of bare legs!
I have made
progress from my ‘two slipper shuffle’ walk to a slight elevation of the heels,
this plus the fact I thought It would be a good idea to jig around to Adele’s ‘rolling
in the deep’ proved to be a bit too adventurous and I had to lie down !!
Anyway I
regret to inform you all that I have a ‘double’ on this island, she looks a lot
like me, is quite tall, has funny mad curly hair and she does like a good yarn
(that’s Suffolk for chat). As there is no way that I should be so deserving of
all the cards/flowers/gifts that I keep receiving, for instance a surprise visitor
from the ‘Tuesday’ Zumba class this morning, brought fruit, chocolate, biscuits
and CHAMPAGNE (obviously for when I am well)J Thanks to you all ;-)
Minding my
own business this afternoon I answer the door to another laden fruit basket
from all my lovely netball girls….overwhelmed, thanks again!!
Thought that
I would go and inspect my small greenhouse this afternoon to see what needed
doing, a tad frustrating as many of the jobs required ‘lifting’ , and I did
think that moving the 15kg bag of Peat was a bit too much even for me (joking).
I did wash
out a few pots and instruct sons to do a few gardening chores so all was not
lost, plus I sat in the sun, and that was lovely……sorry to all you
office/school workers!
So enjoying
the Chelsea match on the T.V tonight, Oh sorry that should have read,’ my
husband is ‘at the beginning of that sentence!!
Got bit worried there, when I read you were enjoying the football! Glad to read you taking it easy, as frustrating as it MUST be!! Must be lovely in your conservatory when the sun is shining. Can't wait to see you when all calms down a bit . Hugs xx
