Thursday 8th March

Well, I did laugh at your comment Jane, you really are a nutter!! I also noted the football comment, and yet MORE footie tonight!! Planned to  be in the co-op at 7.30 this morning, £141.23 later I'm unpacking what should be a vast amount of food, but somehow doesn't appear to be a lot, stocked up on cleaning and washing products as I'm sure the family will be using galleons of it in the next few weeks ;-)
Did the usual humdrum housework chores, plus made a fish pie for supper, as work late on a Thursday, so need forward thinking!  The sun was lovely today, and driving to Zumba at 6.35 still light...so love the longer evenings. Finished the day with daughter cuddles on the sofa, watching David Walliams and his epic Thames swim.

  1. Half seven in the co op!-didn't realise it was open then let alone you being there for that time!!!!!! Lovely the David Walliams documentary. Sounds like a good day weatherwise for you. Lent lunch today ? If so, enjoy. Another day at home in bed for me- aaaaaaaah xxx

  2. I found a lovely cookbook. It is called Lucy's Food. It is stuffed full of lovely recipes which are easy to prepare but taste amazing. London cold and wet this week, didn't find what we wanted in the shops but Hannah now has a better idea of what may be nice to wear for a family wedding! Hip surgeon has banned me from the gym for four weeks and stuck a big needle in my hip. Good job we are going skiing next week! Enjoyed David Walliams too xxx

  3. Feel I might be on dangerous ground here - may need Steve's support... I know women can multi-task but I don't know how you can watch the football AND David Walliams at the same time!
