The day started with my hubby's alarm going off at 6.15am, and him proclaiming what a lovely day it was and how clear France looked...... I agreed without opening my eyes ;-) Kindly daughter brings me morning pain relief and a welcome hot drink, after the usual ablutions and breakfast I need a rest! Two visitors this morning and some more plant/flower deliveries....I am so spoilt....my 'mum sitter' of the day,son no.2, takes me out for 'a drive' , short stop at the local shop and then a pleasant amble around the village green in St Martin at a pace that could hardly be called 'speedy'!! Although it was so nice to be out in the fresh air.
Actually watched a DVD in the afternoon during my 'rest period' and took a call from the Consultant at the hospital, appointment on Friday morning, just to check on me and he MAY have some results from the operation..... We'll wait and see.
Crib is the name of the game in this house, there seems to be an inter sibling competition at the moment, not entirely sure who is leading the pack, but often seems to be noisy banter and indignant comments during the 'pegging'. ;-)
