Thursday 22nd
March
Very busy
day today, visits from two friends this morning, a welcome ‘pick me up’ and a third much
smaller, younger visitor who along with her brother feels relaxed enough to leave
me a ‘present’ in a nappy sac!! Actually I think her mother took that
particular specimen home ;-)
Red riding
Hood (disguised as a neighbour) arrived with her basket full of a delicious
chicken casserole- which promptly got devoured this evening with all the ‘wolves’
in this house! (Hubby did a good job of
peeling the potatoes), followed by a fresh fruit salad made by a very kind
sister-in-law :-)
After lunch
I had a much needed nap (take note, I am doing as the doctor ordered!) My
daughter kindly made a sign on the door to warn people I may be asleep, she
says you have to look after the elderly nowadays……….. Bless her.
Four more
visitors this afternoon and more cups of tea, I felt the need for a little
fresh air, and the sunset this evening was beautiful , even if I do live on the
‘wrong side’ of the island….and I found a job I could do…….weed the gravel!!!!
No heavy lifting there!!
Accompanied
hubby down to the harbour this evening to move the boat- (I obviously was not
needed as First Mate) Son no 2 and daughter were the deckhands, It was very
calm and I managed not to fall off the pontoon!!
So good to see you yesterday Jill, you looked fantastic and are doing so well. Gold stars galore for you!xxxx
