Saturday 8th September
I’ve been told off; my blogs are far too short, apparently…
It is very awkward eliciting any sympathy from friends/family when they read
all about the jolly things I get up to in my day. Worse, it must really rankle
with all those hard at work in offices/schools to hear me go on about how many
sets of tennis I’ve played, or how many swims I’ve done.
So not entirely sure how to address this problem, I could ‘make
something up’ but that’s not really my style, alternatively I could ‘skip’ over
the fun sides of the day and delve deeper into the physical and psychological
effects that the Cancer/Chemo has had and is still having on me, but that’s a
bit too intense! Therefore I am trying to strike a balance between all of those
issues, and so onto today’s events.
Hubby and I took Jessie to St Catherine’s at 7.30am this
morning, and I took her along the path for her first walk out- she enjoyed a
play on Bel val beach.
Back home it was time spent preparing runner beans for the
freezer, before driving back to Bel Val for a swim!
Speedy shower/lunch etc. and then onto a wedding- St Martin’s
Church and La Mare Vineyards, fantastic weather and a very good
church/reception afterwards.
Think I’ll have to leave more details until tomorrow, time
for bed Zebedee!!

Not sure what to say but I think your blogs are just right, honest and perfect. I must say that I thought the blogs was about making you feel better not everyone else!
