Tuesday 11th September
These mouth ulcers are really making it difficult eating the
things I love, like tomatoes and oranges and crisps!!!
Jessie and I went for
a lovely walk in St Catherine’s woods this morning, and made lots of new
friends, before I read my ‘dog book’ and realised that maybe she should not be
going on long walks as she is still so young!!! Whoops!
I so enjoyed my Zumba class this morning- good to meet up
again with the lovely ladies and a new instructor so a different format to try
and follow, good for the brain as well as the body!! I told them they should
all have a swim in the sea after the class as good for the muscles- needless to
say they all laughed. On the way home I remembered my costume and towel etc.
were in the car… so of course I went down for a swim!!! It was beautiful-
sheltered from the north wind and the tide was coming in, and only me on the
beach!
After lunch my friend LW came round with Oscar for an ‘introduction’
session, needless to say after Jessie’s initial shyness, she soon thought Oscar
was her new best friend and the photos speak for themselves!
"Please oscar, play ball with me"! |
Lw’s departure was followed by visit from the –in laws-
which was followed by neighbours TH and SH who I hasten to add brought
absolutely nothing in the way of gifts with them- no food, no flowers, no cake……….on
top of which I am sure the dog had more attention than me!! Outrageous!!
