Friday 10th August
A real summer’s day, we were out in the garden early
picking sweet peas and courgettes. I have to say that I have had a really good
week. I leave the house, and upon my return some kind ‘food fairy’ has
delivered something delicious for tea! This week I have been fortunate enough
to receive Beef Stroganoff, hazelnut cake (CM), Victoria sponge (DS) and today
not only did I get to play two sets of tennis I came home with a huge fruit/nut
cake (AH).- amazing, thanks ladies!!
The house jobs had to be put on hold today as it was far too
nice to be inside, it was beautiful down on the beach, and we met friends down
there too, so a pleasant afternoon.
Five of us took the opportunity to have some supper at
Durrell tonight, (Café Firefly) an early supper while there was still some
sunshine around, it was very quiet (animals and people), as I think they were
all heading down to the Moonlight parade. (The People, not the animals….although…)
I have a date for the CT scan, next Tuesday morning, so I
shall just ‘go with the flow’ and maybe after the scan I do another blood test
and from that I shall be able to have a plan…
Ecrehous at high tide!
