Monday 20th August
Right, to business, far too long absorbed in the ‘new
arrival’ and not enough time dealing with the ‘normal’ stuff! For instance, I
have had a request wanting to know what’s happening about the Aga Saga- she
(they’re always female!) has been temporarily fixed, but is waiting for parts
from Normans.
Hubby did suggest that maybe we should leave her ‘switched off’
for the next few weeks- I said that’s fine, (I have 2 halogen rings working)
but did he not want to have use of an
oven occasionally?!
Was up at six for the first of ‘puppy duties’ and I apologise
in advance to anybody who should be driving down our road early in the mornings
for certainly the next few weeks, as they could well be treated to a rare
spectacle of me wearing a combination of pyjamas/clothes, flip flops and no
bandana, whilst enthusiastically praising a very small black and white puppy!!
I thought I would go off to aqua aerobics early this morning
and attend the clinic for bloods later on, when maybe it would be quieter, and
that proved a good move. I presume that unless I hear differently I will go
ahead with my chemo on Wednesday.
After lunch ‘us girls’ went off to the vets, where Jessie
was made to feel most welcome, she did not ‘disgrace’ herself, and EVERYBODY
wanted a cuddle!!!
With everyone worn out from the excitement, we all needed a
rest, but I did feel revived enough later for a sea swim!
