INTERNET ISSUES- STORMS CUT INTERNET CONNECTION!!!!
I cannot get over the continuing acts of kindness that
people are continually showing me, it is very humbling, and I sure don’t feel
worthy of it all. ‘Thank you’ doesn’t seem to be sufficient, but I really do
MEAN ‘thank you’!!
After sorting out Miss Jessie I had my morning planned out,
this included riding my bike, (with extremely comfortable sheepskin saddle!) to
Ransoms to buy her some more ‘teething toys’! It was a pleasant ride, even
though my gear changing was not entirely fluid, and there were ‘obstacles’ in
the way including men with strimmers, wild brambles, pot holes etc!
Lots of visitors this morning, actually not to see me as
much as to see the pup! PW – (love the strawberries!) SC and DC with puppy toy
(random flying frog!!) and Pdlh with beautiful sunflowers!
I had a luncheon date with Adf and PE at the crab shack (all
the way over in St Brelade, the traffic was a nightmare!). Thanks ladies for my
treat and my lovely rose bush. I even managed to see some school colleagues for
a cup of tea after the lunch!
Followed that up with the 3rd trip to the
hospital this week, for yet another blood test, the bank holiday is affecting
the department’s routine, and they need to know my bloods in order to make up
the chemo drugs for Wednesday.
“It takes six months to get in shape and two weeks to get
out of shape. As soon as you know this, you can stop being angry about other
things in life and only be angry about this”.
