Sunday 5th August
Still recovering from yesterday’s celebrations, my body is
not used to all that socialising and dancing!! It was certainly a good day to
remember, and it had all the qualities that a wedding should have, laughter,
tears and a few jokes!
We had a real family affair down in town today; Son No 2 was
on duty and supporting the Cancer Trust in their Abseil challenge and Son No 3
was abseiling with the St Catherine’s lifeboat crew.
A very quiet afternoon watching the Olympics (Murray in the
tennis was brilliant!), and doing a bit of gardening, in between the odd
shower!
There is something satisfying about eating your own home-grown
vegetables, runner beans, ratatouille and carrots with baked Monkfish.
Delicious!

Brilliant photo of your men, lovely. Must admit, not being a sporty bod like you, and not really interested in sport either, to shouting my head off at the telly over the last few days. Great stuff!
