Friday 20th April
Nice early start to the day 2.30am, couldn’t sleep due to
constant nerve endings all over body ‘itching’ resulted in jerky ‘Tourette’s’
like movements! This was accompanied by my face feeling like it was so hot it
was going to burst open! Thought it best to get up so hubby could remain
undisturbed by my constant movement (actually if he wasn’t already asleep, he
was doing a very good impersonation of a sleeping person!)
Did watch 1 hour of Silent Witness at 3am (thought about
ringing Jane and Sue the other two insomniacs) but thought better of it!
Anyway I have not had any sickness, pills helping that, and
two lovely visitors this morning nagged me to ring the hospital, which I subsequently
did and was told to take piriton this helped to calm down the red, burnt
looking face( part of side effect of drugs apparently).
Hubby and I went to shops today to buy some fresh fish from
van and to collect cakes for Son’s No 3 birthday (21 tomorrow!)
I did get to go on a walk this afternoon, just for about an
hour, passed a few neighbours for a quick chat. Arrived home just before nephew
and his wife (over from London for a few days) came round for afternoon tea, It
was lovely to see them, and we managed a catch up on news and a photo opportunity!
Sister-in-law arrived ‘post’ supper for a news update, and
so all in all a very pleasant busy day, let’s hope that tomorrow is just as
good, especially for the ‘Birthday Boy’!!
P.s Thanks for nice comments on yesterday's blog xx
