Monday 9th April
Despite the rain, I managed a 5 mile walk today and a coffee
with a St Martin neighbour!
Did lots of jobs around the house and ended up at the
supermarket at 4pm with kind son no 3, who had his own agenda for food
shopping, but as he is doing the chef/cook role next week, It’s just as well he
should have a say in the buying. Mind you he was still in ‘student’ mode so
lots of ‘reduced’ stuff and offers went into the trolley!
Packed my small bag for the trip to the UK with instructions
to ask for help as and when needed, which of course I will strictly adhere to…..
(out of sight out of mind) …..
As there is limited internet access in my aunt’s house it
may not be a daily blog, however there has been loud cries of ‘bring back son
no 1’ he is far funnier than you!!!! I gave him the material in the first place
(OK not all of it , and you’re right he is funny!)
Talking of being a student I love Genesis and listened to
this track on my i pod, the words took on a whole new meaning this time round…..
Have a lovely time. Please send my love to Auntie Betty. Looking forward to seeing you when you get back xxx
ReplyDeletewill do x
DeleteI would imagine everything now takes on a whole new meaning Jill. I hope I am learning from you. Shouldn't have to, should be appreciating all, all the time, but life and its busyness can get in the way of just sitting back, sucking it all in, breathing it in and appreciating the life I have and what I am blessed with, which is plenty. I shall sit and breath and absorb, and think of you.xxxx
ReplyDeletewe'll both do it, breathe that is !! xx
DeleteYeh, breathing is pretty useful eh? love ya!xx
