Wednesday 4th April
Don’t stop me now, I’m having such a good time, I’m having a
ball!! Have tried to post a link, no doubt I've
failed....
I do realise that as an Island we do need the rain, very
badly, but it is lovely to see the sun in the morning, and I did enjoy my walk
along to Archirondel and St Catherines!
Just for the record you are aware of your stomach muscles
whilst using a mop and cleaning windows (yes I did have a little ‘go’ this
morning at some ‘light housework’) Oh do stop tutting, I can hear you all.
I have had a VERY pleasant afternoon being treated to
afternoon tea at the Grand no less, with a very dear friend that I really don’t
see enough of, however we have plans to ‘take tea’ at least once a month from
now on ( well I have anyway, but not always at the Grand –It was a treat after
all !!)
My hubby is watching his beloved Chelsea ‘playing’ football,
(do they play? Or maybe just act?), some of them could belong to a drama club,
anyway I digress, I can hear him, shouting/groaning, and generally vocalising
at the T.V. I am keeping clear until I hear more Jubilant cries emanating from
the sitting room. (There may not be any so it could be an evening in separate
rooms!)
I’ve no idea what I am on tonight- fresh air – certainly not
drugs, which leads me to my last paragraph oddly enough.
To round my day off nicely I had a lovely welcome from a
little family unit in Trinity, where I relaxed with a nice cuppa and had my
nails painted (with designs on I hasten to add –very professional) E mail me
and I’ll pass details on, you to could have gorgeous nails- donations to
University fund only!
So all in all a very agreeable day, and in the words of my
lovely Aunt ‘keep your pecker up’, (she assures me it’s not rude, but it is
hilarious all the same…….or is that just me?
There is no stopping you!! As you say, isn't it great to see the sunshine. Had an eventful morning-took Daisy to merton swimming with a friend & Daisy slipped as she came off slide & split her chin open!! Off to a & e to repair her chin-fortunately they could glue it back. Keep up the good work & get out & about. Lots of love xx
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to here about Daisy's accident, hope this wont spoil her Easter!
DeleteI have come up with this little rhyme that will hopefully make her smile: Daisy Le Signe
Spilt her Chin
On the Rim
Of the Mertin
I realise that it is not the exact spelling!! :)
Daisy was impressed with your poem! Was good to see you today with Becky. xxxxxxx
DeleteKeep floating on your high! xxxx
