Sunday 1st April

It’s not an April fool but really short hair, (think the little munchkin on my shoulder maybe the fool!)
A friend arrived this morning bearing home-made Jersey Wonders, and then a drive to Living Legend craft fair, where I bought some excellent gifts! Thought I should/could fit in a walk before lunch while the sun was shining, and le Saie harbour was beautiful, fantastically clear view of France and the Ecrehous.
Meanwhile the hubby was hard at work cutting the lawn, so after lunch yet more weeding and looking busy, but really talking to passer-byes and having a snooze in the sun!!
A great response so far for the Race For life, thanks to everyone who is willing to join in, and who has donated. Some ‘bright’ friend who shall not be named has suggested that I should be pushed in a wheelbarrow, wearing wellie boots and a flat cap!!! (And other clothes too obviously).
3 weeks tomorrow since the operation, and I am feeling better every day, we do have the oncologist appointment Monday afternoon so I am sure he will give me my date to start chemo, so I may have to change the David Guetta Titanium to ‘platinum’ and it won’t be blonde highlights…….

  1. OMG , your hair looks brilliant, and you, stunning and beautiful. Must admit, thought when I saw you last week that it was getting too long and sort of pulled your face down. You look so much better, younger, your whole face lifted with it shorter (with no plastic surgery!!). SERIOUSLY GORGEOUS!!! LOVE IT.xxxx

  5. love the hair, very youthful. Never imagined you with short hair but it looks fab, think it is nearly time mine had the chop, big 50 coming up this year. Spent the day looking after the lovely Lyra, forgot how much stuff you get to take everywhere. My arms are aching so much, lol.
