The GREAT news today is that Mum' blood test has come back at 6...which is no change.....which is fantastic. Nothing else is really important....but we'll fill you in with details anyway...just to send you all to sleep.
The dog has just come in from outdoors with an oyster shell (one of her favorite things) and has proceeded to start chewing and crunching her way through it. Bex has had to take it off her as it's one of those noises that grates on your nerves...well, Bex's anyway. Dog has been out quite a bit today, with another visit to the vets thrown in for good measure. That's the second visit this week.....Dad has been on to the bank to see if we can afford to eat next week.
Bex had a good morning....if you like spending money. She went off to town with Mum and came back with a shiny new Macbook pro....all paid for with her own money. She's desperate to start using it, but apparently the "data transfer" from her old machine won't be complete until 11 this evening.....very frustrating.
Dan has had a day making coffee....the sun was out and al fresco was all the go down at Castle Quay. Off to the Rozel Bay for him tonight with SdG (who's the only uni mate left in Jersland at the moment).....well, someone has to hold up the local economy, especially as Jack is on night shift this evening.
Tom has gone to St. Brelade's this evening for an "M&S tea".....we presume that means using his cooking skills to warm up supermarket food at someone else's house.
Dad got up (of sorts), cancelled his 8 and 930 meetings, and promptly went back to bed. However, he felt better enough to strap himself up, drug himself up, and go off to two meetings over lunch....both went okay and he came home in time to for the massage he booked this morning. The family had to have a laugh when dad got back and related a story.... when the girl said she was finished massaging and, after she had left, dad could get dressed, she left the room........the old man found that he couldn't get off the couch, well not for a few minutes.....he survived to fight another day.
Mum's day was a little stressed as she waited for that call from the hospital....in the end she called them, and very soon after that the call was returned with the good news. Much relief all round as you can imagine......Ma's gone off to town for a netball meal this evening.....she has a badminton meal tomorrow.....so that means another evening of "do your own supper"....does he woman have no shame?
Saturday tomorrow if you hadn't noticed.....golf, Grand Prix, rugby, football...bring it on.
