Wednesday 11th April
I have had such a BRILLIANT day with my UK family and one of the best things about today was actually forgetting for the most part that I actually have cancer.... how good is that!! Didn't know until yesterday that my eldest brother(and sister-in-law) were coming up from London for the day to my Aunt's house, they arrived at about 10ish, where after a coffee and homemade cakes( a selection including macaroons)!We all went out for a long walk, which included a visit to an allotment, a beach house(the North Sea)! and various parts of Lowestoft! Eventually my little brother arrived (missing out on the walk) as he had to wait in for a delivery of a new bed- and then had to build the frame......did he read the instructions? NO ! I believe it took 3 attempts- glad I'm not sleeping in it tonight! So for lunch and during the afternoon my Aunt produced some lovely food, and with my 2 brothers, sister and 'in laws', we talked and laughed, and laughed some more-It was an excellent way to spend the day and a long time since we've all been together.
Update on Race For Life- £585- flabbergasted...................:-)
