Monday 14th May
A watery theme to today’s activities- went to the Merton for
my first aqua aerobics session. It was good fun and a bonus that the sun was shining!
I went to watch sons 2 and 3 do a spot of scuba diving down at St Catherine’s.
Now I don’t know how many of you have ever watched scuba diving but once the
divers are immersed in the briny sea, there is not a lot to see! A little
marker buoy proclaiming ‘diver’ on the side, bobs about alongside bubbles
breaking on the surface, and that’s about it! Still it was pleasant enough
sitting in the sun for a short while.
Popped into school to surprise everyone, they must have
known I was coming as they were out on a visit!! I felt I had to leave a few rude notes on the
desk though, just to keep them on their toes. Luckily there were some real members
of staff there so it wasn’t an entirely wasted trip.
Had a lovely surprise visitor from Plemont drop by for a cup
of tea late this afternoon, a long way to come but always welcome to the ‘best’
side of the Island . :-)
Housemaid Knees are back big time tonight- feels like I’ve
played 4 hours of netball on hoggin!
