Sunday 13th May
Another beautiful sunny day makes you glad to be alive… I
enjoyed a walk to Church this morning to drop off my poster for the Race for
Life, Rev GB has very kindly put a ‘piece’ in the newsletter about sponsorship,
only 2 weeks to go! My netball friend had a beautiful little girl 7 weeks
early, so her joining me on the day with a waddle is out of the question- good
news though, mum and baby both doing well. ;-)
Hubby was playing the organ at Chapel, so I went to ‘support’
him and so good to see so many lovely friends in the congregation. All wishing
me well and complimenting me on my ‘wig’!
I slept in the sun (hat on) on my patio this afternoon
before being surprised by visitors from the UK who are on holiday for the week,
so an excellent excuse for more sitting, relaxing and cups of tea and cake!
Such a lovely evening that did an hour or so gardening with
hubby, before cooking roast chicken supper, (I am let off the washing up
nowadays, and did get help with vegetable prep from daughter!!)
Taking anti-sickness tablets for next few days and doesn’t
seem to be a problem (fingers crossed) Little bit itchy eyes and face, but
piriton sorts that out, and so far the legs have not leapt into River Dance
mode, so I really have nothing to complain about……
“-Homer, Is this the way you pictured married life?”
“-Yeah, pretty much. Except we drove around in a van solving mysteries.”
