Thursday 17th May

Thursday 17th May
A lot of ‘aches’ today, but don’t feel sorry for me, no sympathy my way please, all self-inflicted from yesterday’s activities! So I can now add to my repertoire ‘Racquet ball Glutes’ and ‘Tennis arm tenderness’! Consequently I decided to ‘moderate’ my planned morning and postponed my swimming/Pilates and just did some Pilates instead. By chance I did meet an old badminton colleague and that was good to catch up with her and her grandson.
A trip to the supermarket (!) and a lovely chat with ‘a mum’ from school, we managed to put the world to right whilst perusing the merits of broccoli and shallot onions!
SW visited this afternoon and we thought a little light on-line shopping for a few more ‘bandanas’ were the order of the day, however I don’t know why she felt it was QUITE so amusing ,  referring to me looking like something from the 1920’s or an Amish  Mennonite . Needless to say nothing was purchased, but we decided that there is a ‘market’ out there in Jersey for anyone with a few sewing talents! (WW , making ‘Binca butterflies with 6yr olds doesn’t count!)
Enjoyed a nice cup of tea at Ransoms with ‘school friends’ – I do seem to be well out of the loop, but it was good to spend time with them and share news.
Thanks to sons fishing trip yesterday hubby and I feasted on fresh mackerel tonight- delicious ;-)

    1. Dear Wrinkle face, bet you did and really hooted laughter. Just the medicine needed according to the laughter doctors who I am sure everyone is in contact with, along with the empathy doctors. A good dose per day is sufficient to supply good vibes to our friend and help that gorgeous woman feel a little better for that wonderful moment in time when laughter fills all spectrums and all else dissipates.
It would be really cooooooolio if you could find a bandana maker!xxxxx
