Monday 7th May
8 weeks today since my operation and things are ticking
along nicely; I enjoyed another 5 mile walk today around the coast of St
Catherine and Archirondel, lovely with the sun out. Thought I’d disguised
myself with the bandana but still saw 3 friends and had some big hugs!
Hubby and I went to ‘Acorn Nurseries’ today and bought lots
of flowers for the garden, but decided the planting of them would have to wait
until tomorrow, I needed a cup of tea and a rest!
Got a blood test at the hospital tomorrow morning, just a
pre-chemo check-up before Friday, and whilst I am in town I may look for a hat.
I think I probably need a ‘smart’ one for Liberation Day celebrations, and
maybe the wig will have a better chance at staying on my head!!” Double double
toil and trouble; I’m a dead cert for the role of a witch in Macbeth”!! (No comments
please WW).
I’ve been asked a few times for the link to my ‘Just Giving,
Race for Life Page’ so here it is…
“Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to
open it and remove all doubt”
Mark Twain
