Friday 13th July
No misfortunes as yet, but the day’s not over …
I thought I felt brave enough to venture into town today-
(My head was in the hospital having chemo!)Even managed to meet up with FB and
multitask talking and shopping-although that didn’t necessarily work. I spoke
rubbish and forgot half the stuff I went for; still I did achieve some of my
tasks successfully.
I was going through some of the books I have been attempting
to ‘read’ over the last few months and have compiled a list- they are as
totally random as myself!
1.
What to eat if you have cancer- Maureen Keane
and Daniella Chace
2.
Anti-Cancer a new way of life- Dr David
Servan-Schreiber
3.
Foods to fight Cancer- Professor Richard
Beliveau & Dr Denis Gingras
4.
Crazy Sexy Diet- Kris Carr
5.
Wheatgrass- Steve Meyerowitz
6.
God’s healing word- Felicity Corbin-Wheeler
7.
Your Life in Your Hands- Professor Jane Plant
8.
English Springer Spaniel – Yvonne Billows
9.
Warrior- General Jack Seely
10.
It’s me or the Dog- Victoria Stilwell
And I’ve just finished One Day by David
Nicholls and just started Fifty Shades of Grey on my
Kindle!!!
I have been enjoying home grown beetroot
kindly cooked and dropped off by Pdlh
and today I get Jersey Royals, so what with those and my garden vegetables I am
feeling SO much better.
