Sunday July 1st
A lovely crazy, hectic and child filled weekend concluded
this evening with my nephew taking his daughters back to the UK, but with a
promise of returning sooner rather than later!!
A variety of breakfasts this morning ranging from cooked to cereals
and pancakes set them up for their visit to Gorey Castle- I thought I’d rest up
before the church BBQ, unfortunately my mouth ulcers so very sore that talking
is extremely painful and despite the rest didn’t feel up to a BBq social event
sadly.
Dropped the family at the airport at 4ish (via St Peter’s
for an unscheduled emergency toilet stop!!) Bless her…….
So lovely to have supper cooked this evening- scrummy – a million
thanks CM!
Called into St Mary to see our week old puppy (Bertha) -
will the name stick I wonder? She is so gorgeous, which brings me to my last
comment this evening.
Just wanted (without too much sentimentality) to say a very
big THANKS to hubby, for continually being supportive and offering such sound common-sense
especially when I have my ‘wobbly’ moments!!!

I have held on to this all day since reading your blog early this morning before going to work at the hospital....Now then "Bertha". Lovely name, but I just have visions of you calling your dog on the beach and you suddenly being surrounded by little old biddies saying "Did you call me dear?"
ReplyDeleteLol, am not allowed to keep that name ;-(
DeleteKate has a puppy just like yours and he is called Herbert!!
