Mouth ulcers healing-yippee!
Gentle start to the morning before my Zumba class, once
again really enjoyed it, frustratingly I seem to be slower and clumsier than
before or maybe I just think I am? Anyway it was great to see smiling faces and
happy people!
I was very tired afterwards though and after shower and
lunch crashed out on the sofa for 2 hours- Oh the decadence! (I do feel bad
writing that to all the ‘working’ amongst us!)
Now, I have a seed of a plan (I can hear most of you
groaning!!) Macmillan are having a ‘Jersey's Greatest Coffee Morning’ the week of the 24th-28th
September, I believe anyone (banks, business’s etc.) can hold their own coffee
morning. I have downloaded the forms from their website and I am half thinking
of holding my own at St Martin’s Public Hall. Anyway, keep the date of
September 28th in your heads and I will see whether it’s feasible or
not, I will be looking for volunteers (who are free Friday morning) to help
serve/wash up etc.!!!
I use a wonderful product called bio oil which I put on my
scar to aid healing, but I have to be careful not to ‘stain’ my clothes- so, I ‘borrowed’
hubby’s t-shirt. This was fine except it was more like a dress on me, which
wouldn’t have mattered barring the fact that I got hot after tea, and just to
give you a visual, I am washing up wearing an outsized man’s t-shirt, jogging
bottoms, flip flops and bare headed………….and ………the carpet man turns up!!!
Did I tell you I’m learning to type? Have been lent a CD (it’s
about year 2 level- 6 year olds!), much to the amusement of my daughter who
sniggered all the way through my practice lesson!!
“Whenever people talk to me about the weather, I always feel
certain that they mean something else.” Oscar Wilde
....surely it would have been better if it had been the blind man! Xxx
ReplyDeleteThe CD is yours. Becky can snigger as much as she likes, but is she touch typing? Doubt it. When your fingertips are sailing across those keys without even a thought as to where the letters are (as I am doing now), she will LEARN FROM HER MOTHER!!!!.So glad your mouth ulcers are healing...so gobfulls of verbals from you now! Yay!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the decision about the puppy's name? Frankie? Bolt? Checker? Polkadot? Spud? Tracky? Scallop? Mooooooooool? Mooooly? Chemo? Chemy? Alfie, Archie, I'm just chucking in a few names I like here!!
Let us know. Love you and sorry not to see you recently.xxxxxxx
