Friday 18th January
The beauty and peacefulness of the snow laden garden was
somewhat spoilt this morning by a continually vomiting puppy, who had obviously
eaten something she shouldn’t and was paying the price.
Four of us ventured out into the woods, battling the
blizzard like conditions; well two of us walked and two drove to the shop first
on the pretence of buying ‘emergency’ supplies of bread and milk, and then met
us in the woods!
Still not quite
believing my good news of yesterday and still very much aware that there are a
great many people (some I know really well) who are continuing their own
battles with cancer, and having to undergo painful surgery and awful chemo- my
heart goes out to them.
Coming back home from my afternoon walk I was amazed to see
not one but two huge bouquets that had just been delivered- It was such a
lovely surprise, and I don’t feel deserving of such generosity – Thanks to S and
AleC (happy birthday to the latter!) and thanks to A and GH, I felt I had to
take photos of both!
This evening we had a visit from some St Mary parishioners,
and spent an hour or so catching up, the weeks fly by so fast it’s hard to find
time to see one another.
Hope you enjoy the short clips from Simon's cat!
