Wednesday 9th January

Wednesday 9th January

A great big thank you for the interesting and varied comments on last nights blog!! It has brightened up a rather gloomy day, weather wise at least. The fog is so disorienting, roads you drive down all the time suddenly look very different in thick mist.

Thanks also go to my daughter and adopted daughter for doing a Waitrose shop for me this afternoon, one less tedious chore.

Went into work this afternoon, still finding my feet and lots to do, but enjoying the children's  company.

Son no 2 took Jessie out for the afternoon walk, saving me that job when I got home, preparing supper for the six of us is a job in itself!

I do believe when I spoke to the doctor last he mumbled something that sounded like "keep up the badminton", so felt I must attend club night........

  1. Are you back to work full time?

My news of the day is that I have eventually committed myself to do some regular exercise, 8 months after having Adria. I am going to try a term of 'Back to Netball'. I haven't even watched a session before so not sure if it will be my thing, but I like Netball and need to keep fit. I am just worried I might be too competitive. Watch this space...

  4. Too late I've signed up already. Jackie suggested it to me before Christmas. I'll see how it goes, hopefully I will get some fitness from it at least.
