Monday 7th January
My lovely pedigree springer spaniel is having her first
season so this is a WARNING to the owners of all
male dogs living in the Parish of St Martin. KEEP YOUR
DOG AWAY FROM MY BITCH!!!
She already had a narrow escape from a one eyed Bichon
Frisé down in Gorey, who though he put up a valiant attempt, wasn’t entirely
sure what it was all about, and found a springer spaniel puppy a bit too much
to handle!
On a lighter note…… I feel much better today (thanks for all
the good wishes), which is good as we had Inset today and I wanted to ‘show my
face’ before the start the new term.
Hubby came with me for the blood test/results fiasco at the
hospital this afternoon, which as it turned out was a bit of a non-event. Blood
results showed that haemoglobin 10.1 (down a bit) White cells 2.7 (down a bit)
Neutrophils 1.63 (down) Clotting platelets 186 (down a bit). They didn’t find
anything else particularly out of order with the bloods- a slight rise in my
CRP this is “C-reactive protein (CRP) is protein found in
the blood, the levels of which rise in response to inflammation.” Which I guess
would make sense, good news in that my CA 125 still shows 6 (ideally anything
lower than 35 is good).
My CT scan is booked for 11.45 on 15th January
and appointment for the results on the 17th……………..(that was me
taking a big breath).
Lastly I must apologise for the constant changes in the
background display of the blog, I have had a special request today from SCr,
who avidly looks forward to each ‘scene change’, and I wouldn’t want to disappoint……!!!

I Iove dog paws background for SCr. May I request snowdrops some time? My first sighting in Mont Pellier, Trinity was 28 Dec - so pretty. xx
